City College of Calapan ILCS Successfully Launches Academic Year 2026–2027 Through First Day of Classes and Student Orientation

Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro – The Institute of Library and Computer Studies (ILCS) of the City College of Calapan officially welcomed students as it successfully commenced the Academic Year 2026–2027 with the opening of classes and the conduct of the ILCS Student Orientation on June 8, 2026.

The event marked the beginning of another academic year filled with enthusiasm, optimism, and fresh opportunities for learning and personal development. New and returning students participated in a series of orientation sessions and engaging activities designed to familiarize them with the College's academic policies, student services, campus facilities, and the various programs and opportunities available throughout the academic year.

The orientation also provided an opportunity for students to connect with faculty members, administrators, staff, and student leaders, fostering a welcoming and collaborative learning environment. Through these interactions, students gained valuable insights into the College's mission, values, and expectations, equipping them for a successful academic journey.

More than just the official opening of classes, the event celebrated the spirit of learning, innovation, and community. It reaffirmed the Institute's commitment to developing competent, ethical, and future-ready professionals through quality education and meaningful student engagement.
