CCC Industry Advisory Council 1st Meeting

Last February 11, the City College of Calapan (CCC), through its Career and Job Placement Office (CJPO), convened a strategic meeting with members of the Academic Council and key external stakeholders to formally initiate the establishment of the institution’s Industry Advisory Council (IAC).

This initiative reflects CCC’s commitment to strengthening academe-industry collaboration by aligning academic programs with current labor market demands and industry standards. The formation of the IAC aims to ensure curriculum relevance, enhance internship and employment pathways, support competency-based training, and promote responsive program development anchored on real-world industry insights.

Through this partnership, CCC seeks to provide its students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities, improved employability, and stronger career readiness. For the institution, the IAC serves as a platform for continuous quality improvement, innovation, and strategic planning. For industry partners, it fosters a collaborative environment where they can help shape future professionals, contribute to workforce development, and build sustainable talent pipelines within the community.
