Lozano Leads Winners in English Day 2026 Declamation Contest

‎With students from different departments competing for the top spots, BSTM represent, Lozano secured the gold in the Declamation Contest held as part of the English Day 2026 celebration on September 4.
‎
‎The contestants delivered their assigned pieces before the audience and judges, using their voices and gestures to present their performances.
‎
‎BSTM representative Nezie Lozano claimed 1st place, starting in a calm tone before varying her voice and putting more emphasis on the key lines as her piece progressed.
‎
‎Meanwhile, BSNED representative Carla Joy Sandoval secured 2nd place, adding props to her presentation and changing her voice as she went through different parts of the piece. BPA representative Abcd De Guzman followed in 3rd place, pausing at certain parts and delivering his lines with conviction.
‎
‎Jayra Perez of BSEd Science and Erlyne S. Bodegas both placed 4.5th, completing the list of winners in the competition.
‎
‎The contest gave students an opportunity to show their English skills through declamation and performance.
