CCAA Season 21 Kicks Off at New Calapan City Coliseum

The Calapan City Athletic Association (CCAA) officially opened its 21st season alongside the inauguration of the new Calapan City Coliseum, bringing together athletes, school officials, coaches, and sports enthusiasts from participating schools.

Carrying the theme “Beyond Legacy: Power Redefined,” the opening program featured a grand parade, entrance of colors and flags, cultural performances, messages of support, and the recognition of outstanding Calapeño athletes.

Adding significance to the celebration was the presence of Alyssa Valdez, a prominent Philippine volleyball star, who served as the event’s celebrity guest. Her participation added excitement to the opening celebration and inspired young athletes participating in the season.

The program also included the launching of the CCAA website, lighting of the torch, oath of sportsmanship, raising of banners, and Succession of Honor, officially setting the stage for the competitions ahead.

The opening of the new coliseum and CCAA Season 21 marked a new chapter for sports in Calapan City, providing a venue for athletes to showcase their talent, dedication, and sportsmanship.
