CCC Academic Day 2026 ends with collab, fun

Faculty members and students gathered for a series of academic presentations and extra-curricular competitions, bringing institute collaboration and enjoyment during its second day of Academic Day Celebration, September 4

Featuring teachers and students talents and coordination, some of the highlights of the day 2 were the dance and singing competitions, and spoken poetry that made the crowd alive as different performances reflect local culture.

Another highlight was the Faculty Quiz Bowl, a teacher edition of quiz bee, wherein two faculty members represented their own institute, putting their knowledge to the test.

In the morning, while the students were on their wellness break, faculty members gathered at the Kalap Hall to witness the Best Practices Presentations of the deans of four institutes.

Moreover, a special message from Hon. Rius Anthony C. Agua, City Councilor and the Committee of Education, reminded the students to never forget their contribution to the society's improvement. "Huwag 'nyong kalilimutan, kailangan kayo ng bayan dahil kayo ang magdadala ng pag-asa sa bayan," he emphasized.

The day concluded with the Awarding Ceremony and Academic Leadership Award, providing a fitting end to a celebration centered on academic excellence and community.

As the first Academic Day of CCC to feature collaborative contests involving faculty from each institute, the two-day celebration became more than a series of competitions. It became an avenue for the City Collegian community to connect, celebrate its diverse talents, and strengthen the spirit of unity across the institution.
