ILCS Strikes the Winning Beat in Academic Week Dance Showdown

The Institute of Library and Computer Studies (ILCS) claimed the championship in the Dance Competition: Student & Faculty Edition during Academic Week 2026, turning the stage into a showcase of synchronized movements, vibrant formations, and spirited performances.

Every institute that took part brought its own flavor to the competition filling the stage with synchronized movements, lively group formations, expressive performances, and plenty of moments that made the crowd cheer.

Representing ILCS, Ma’am Sherly Jane Fesalbon-Mayores joined the institute’s performers, contributing to the group’s spirited presentation. ILCS ultimately secured the top spot with a high-energy and well-executed performance that captured the attention of the audience and impressed the judges. Their precise movements, coordinated formations, and commanding stage presence propelled them to victory.

Following closely behind, was the Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) with a performance full of energy and personality. Their hard work and strong performance proved that they were ready to challenge the winners. Meanwhile, the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (ITHM) claimed third place bringing their own unique style and excitement to the competition. Their performance added another exciting layer to an already action-packed dance battle.

Truly, the event gave everyone a chance to take a break from studying. And judging by the energy that filled the stage, Academic Week 2026 certainly knew how to dance its way into everyone's hearts. A reminder that excellence does not only happen inside the classroom, it can also be found in every step, formation, and beat on the dance floor.
