Building a Culture of Research Excellence!

The Research Development Office successfully conducted its Regular Undergrad Research Orientation on July 10, 2026, which was spearheaded by the Director of Research and Development Office; Ms. Qiarrah Syrah A. Chavez, bringing together faculty members and key stakeholders to discuss the institution's research policies, processes, and strategic direction.

The orientation highlighted the RDO's vision, mission, goals, and institutional mandate of fostering community-based, innovative, and sustainable research that addresses regional ecological, governance, and economic challenges. Participants were also oriented on updated research procedures, capstone policies, ethical standards, evaluation processes, and timelines to ensure quality, integrity, and academic excellence.

An open forum allowed faculty researchers to raise valuable insights and recommendations on research implementation, panel composition, defense procedures, and student support—reflecting the institution's commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative policymaking.

Together, we continue to cultivate a strong research culture that empowers our academic community to generate impactful knowledge and meaningful solutions for society.
