June 21, 2026
The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) of the City College of Calapan successfully conducted Ignite IHTM 2026–2027, its annual student orientation held at Kalap Hall, officially welcoming both new and returning students for the Academic Year 2026–2027.
The orientation served as the first step in preparing students for a meaningful and rewarding academic journey in the fields of hospitality, tourism, and management. Through informative presentations and engaging activities, participants were introduced to the Institute's academic programs, student services, policies, and opportunities that will support their personal and professional development.
More than an orientation, Ignite IHTM 2026–2027 symbolized the beginning of a transformative journey where students are inspired to pursue excellence, develop industry-relevant knowledge and skills, and uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, and service.
As the new academic year unfolds, the Institute encourages every student to embrace new opportunities, foster collaboration, and actively participate in experiences that will prepare them to become competent, globally competitive, and service-oriented professionals.
The Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Management extends its sincere appreciation to the faculty members, student leaders, staff, and everyone whose dedication and collective efforts contributed to the success of the event. May Academic Year 2026–2027 be filled with learning, growth, innovation, and remarkable achievements for the entire IHTM community.
