The City College of Calapan (CCC) conducted its National Service Training Program (NSTP) graduation ceremony on April 13, 2026, at Kalap Gymnasium, recognizing 540 students from various departments under the theme “Serving Today, Leading Tomorrow.”

As the program formally commenced, Dr. Ronald F. Cantos then delivered his welcoming remarks, congratulating the students on this significant milestone and emphasizing the importance of service-driven leadership.

“You are not only graduates of a program, but future leaders called to serve with integrity and compassion,” he said. He also highlighted CCC’s NSTP guiding principle, “We Learn. We Train. Won’t Quit. Won’t Tire,” encouraging students to carry these values as they move forward in their journeys.

Furthermore, the event featured a guest speaker, Mr. Jesse Regala, LPT, who inspired the graduates with his message on leadership, service, and commitment to the community.

The ceremony placed strong emphasis on recognizing growth, discipline, and meaningful contribution, as NSTP graduates were awarded Certificates of Recognition for their commitment to service and civic responsibility, alongside a series of distinctions that highlighted student excellence and development, including Service Excellence Awardees, Most Improved Students, Most Compassionate Students, Outstanding Leaders, and Best in Project Proposal, awarded to BSHM 1A for its innovative output.

Moreover, three outstanding nominees were recognized for the NSTP Student Leader of the Year award: Pauline Jacinto, Andrea Amore Mendoza, and Florence Dela Santa, each of whom demonstrated exemplary leadership and dedication to service.

In the end, Pauline Jacinto was named NSTP Student Leader of the Year. In her speech, she emphasized that NSTP is not the end of their journey, but rather the beginning of many extension services they will continue to undertake in the future, inspiring her fellow graduates to remain committed to serving their communities.
