Land Contract Signing Secures Permanent Home For CCC

Permanent foundations for the City College of Calapan (CCC) were officially laid today, April 8, through the ceremonial signing of the Contract to Sell for the institution’s new lot procurement, held at Calapan City Convention Center.
The ceremony transformed years of visionary planning into a binding legal reality, securing the physical future of the city’s flagship educational project.
City Mayor Hon. Atty. Doy C. Leachon and MENAKOR Corp. CEO Mr. Jolly Ting led the executive signing, bolstered by a message of partnership delivered via MENAKOR’s representative, Atty. Leslie Go.
The execution of this milestone contract followed a meticulous review by the technical working group, ensuring all legal and fiscal safeguards were met before the final turnover. City Legal Officer Atty. Thomas Lasquite and City Administrator Mr. Angel Navarro presented the key MOA terms, framing the procurement as a vital step toward institutional stability.
Additionally, a poignant stage play by the Tanghalang City Collegian underscored the college's historic journey, while Vice Mayor Hon. Bim Ignacio described the signed agreement as a "legacy project" for the youth of Calapan.
With the documents now officially turned over, the city moves forward with a concrete blueprint for academic excellence on its very own land.
