Research Colloquium 2026 Commences with a Day of Insight, Collaboration, and Academic Excellence

‎A dynamic convergence of ideas, innovation, and academic excellence marked the opening of the City College of Calapan’s Research Colloquium and Capacity-Building Activity 2026 on March 25 at the Calapan City Convention Center. Gathering faculty researchers and academic leaders in a meaningful exchange of knowledge and innovation. This three-day colloquium will continue tomorrow, offering more opportunities for insightful discussions, collaboration, and knowledge exchange.

‎The first day opened with conference preliminaries, setting a professional and anticipatory tone for the event. A warm welcome was extended by Dr. Ronald F. Cantos, who emphasized the importance of research in driving institutional growth and fostering a culture of inquiry among educators. This was followed by the introduction of research critics and presentation guidelines by Ms. Qiarrah Syrah A. Chavez, equipping participants with clear expectations for the sessions ahead.

‎The highlight of the morning and afternoon sessions was the presentation of research studies by faculty members, divided into two sets. These presentations showcased a wide range of scholarly work, exhibiting the professor's relentless pursuit to advancing knowledge across disciplines. Participants engaged in thoughtful discussions, constructive critiques, and knowledge-sharing, reinforcing the collective spirit of the academe.

‎The research presentations were further enriched by the presence of distinguished panelists — Dr. Christian Anthony Agutaya, Dr. Belinda Cleofe, and Sir Melson Dilay who provided insightful critiques, constructive feedback, and expert perspectives.
