Mini Centrum Set to Spark Curiosity at Arturo Elementary School

Scinatics Organization officially launched its Mini Centrum at Arturo Elementary School, marking a significant milestone in the group's ongoing mission to foster curiosity and environmental stewardship.
Under the theme "From Discovery to Curiosity , from discovery to sustainability, CCC's 18 years sjine brither as we build a greener tomorrow together" the two-day event transformed the school grounds into an interactive hub designed to engage students through hands-on scientific discovery.
The program opened with an inspiring address from Science Department Program Head, Sir Armando Lamboloto Jr., who welcomed students to the makeshift science center and encouraged them to embrace the spirit of exploration. His sentiments were echoed by CES Coordinator, Sir Noel Comia, who advocated for the transition to a two-day event. He noted that the extended schedule was intentional, providing students with ample time to dive deeper into the exhibits and fully engage with the concepts on display.
A key pillar of the event was the integration of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Princess Selah C. Catanyag, President of the Science Department, led a discussion on the intersection of scientific inquiry and global responsibility. Following the keynote, Ms. Johannah C.Encabo, Founder of Mindoro Youth Advocates, spearheaded the "Science in Action" segment, a high-energy demonstration that bridged theoretical concepts with real-world applications.
The centerpiece of the event was the Exploration Time, where students transitioned from spectators to active participants. Tasked with a specific mission, students were guided through exhibits with three core objectives: to discover, be curious, and initiate change.
The Scinatics Organization intends for the Mini Centrum to serve as a long-term catalyst for intellectual growth, nurturing the next generation of innovators and change-makers within the Arturo Elementary community.
