CCC LAUNCHES FIRST INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP PARTNERSHIP TO BOOST BSIS GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS

City College of Calapan (CCC) has taken a significant step toward enhancing the global readiness of its Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) students by establishing its first international internship partnership. On September 19, CCC signed a Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Neptune APAC Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based IT solutions firm, facilitated locally through Fligno Software Philippines, Inc.

The collaboration aims to provide BSIS students with hands-on industry experience, professional training, and internationally recognized certification, equipping them with skills aligned with global IT standards. Under the agreement, CCC will identify and prepare qualified interns, while Neptune APAC and Fligno Software will oversee training, mentorship, monitoring, and certification, ensuring high-quality internship outcomes.

Leading the initiative was Sir Joey Marasigan Villanueva, Dean of the Bachelor of Library and Information System (BLIS), along with BSIS faculty and college officials. The program reflects CCC’s commitment to bridging academic learning with practical, industry-driven experience, giving students a competitive edge both locally and internationally.

Through this groundbreaking partnership, BSIS students will gain more than internship hours—they will develop professional competencies, experience real-world IT practices, and earn certifications recognized on a global scale, significantly enhancing employability opportunities.

CCC’s first international academic-industry collaboration not only marks a milestone in its academic programs but also sets the stage for future partnerships that will expand opportunities for students, strengthen global industry ties, and prepare graduates for the demands of a rapidly evolving digital world.
